Casey James was interviewed on nationally syndicated The Crook and Chase Show during CRS week and they shared the video on their Top 30 show this week. ”Let’s Don’t Call It A Night” is currently #25 on The Crook and Chase Show’s Top 30.
Lorianne Crook said something really sweet during the interview. She said that they see a lot of new artists come through country music, and she can’t often say this but Casey is a force. “Your talent, your personality, the way you live your life, you really are a positive force.” She also said that he should write his autobiography, that it would be an inspiration for others.” We agree.
This was a terrific interview talking about the person behind the music. The focus was on the motorcycle accident that nearly cost Casey his life back in 2004 and how that life-changing, near-death experience influenced him to be the person he is today. For those fans who appreciate not just Casey’s music, but his positive attitude and great spirit, it’s a must-see interview:
Casey also talks about the music video for this first single and how he didn’t want the video to be anything but family-friendly.
In addition to this interview, there is video of the ad last week promoting Casey’s upcoming appearance:
Casey also did a short interview on the Crook and Chase radio show on 3/17.

Thanks @carolaughs for getting us the video and the radio interview!
Here’s a clearer version of part of the video, talking about the accident:
Even though Crooks and Chase “got” Casey, you could tell they were moved and inspired in the moment by him. They were professional but the human, inspiring connection could not be missed. The open, honesty of Casey is what has inspired me and made me a fan. Don’t get me wrong I love his music, but who he strives to be as a person is what made me a fan for life. I kinda like trying to live in the positive side of life myself.
agree with you a 100%! It was his music that first got my attention but it is more his honesty and openness to admit whatever wrong he has done in the past that inspires people like myself to go and root for him.
Thank you so much for posting these videos – I can’t see Crook and Chase in Canada, so it’s really appreciated. I loved the interview but I have to admit tearing up hearing about Casey’s near death experience again. As corny as it sounds, I do think Casey’s been touched by God. And I’m not a religious person.
