Kratom is a rather unique drug as a low dosage of a moderate will usually (but not always) stimulating, while a high dose is almost always enough sedative. This is because apparently the active alkaloids have both stimulating effects of sedatives. What predominates probably depends both on blood level than by individual differences among underwriters.
The stimulant level: the stimulant level the mind is more alert, there is physical energy and sometimes sexual energy increases, the ability to do hard physical work, monotonous, can be improved, it is more talkative, friendly and sociable. Some people find this irritating level rather than pleasant.
The sedative-euphoric-analgesic level: At this dosage, you will be less susceptible to physical or emotional pain, play as calm, you will have a general feeling of comforting pleasure; you will be imbued with fervent imagination. You may experience some itching or sweating. You can feel nauseous, but if you lie down and relaxing nausea should stop quickly.
You will notice that your sensitivity to music has increased. It will be very pleasant to lie down in a semi-darkened room, with eyes closed listening to your music prefer you do this you may be lucky enough to get into the lovely mystical state of ‘sleep-wake’ where you have one foot in dreamland and the other foot in reality. Kratom resorted to taking addictive drugs, such as narcotics or opiates. The effects of Kratom usually last about six hours. The higher the dose, the stronger the effects and longer lasting. Many people report an ‘afterglow’ positive the next day.
What effects are associated with different doses?
2-6 grams = mild effects (generally the effects are more or less stimulating)
7-15 grams = medium strength effects (the effects can be stimulant-like or sedative-euphoric-analgesic)
16-25 grams = strong effects (sedative-euphoric-analgesic effects, too strong for highly sensitive people)
26-50 grams = very strong effects (sedative-euphoric-analgesic effects, too strong for most people)
Warning: Kratom dosage guidelines apply to Kratom leaves (not drawn). People vary in sensitivity to Kratom, and Kratom different batches vary in potency (sometimes a lot), so these dose estimates must be considered to be approximations.
You should always start with a low dose when experimenting with a new batch of Kratom. You can then gradually increase the dose with subsequent experiments until you get the desired level of effect. Do not take a strong or very strong dose the first time you try a new batch of Kratom. Most people experience nausea when using doses above 25 grams.
Sensitive individuals may experience nausea at lower doses, but not usually in doses of less than 10 grams. For this reason, it is best to take Kratom on an empty stomach when using large doses (wait about three hours after eating). Some people are hypersensitive to Kratom, and can have bad reactions (such as severe vomiting and prolonged) when using doses strong.
